The Battery Show 2013
Under our continued partnership with The Battery Show, the ALABC will display at the East Penn Manufacturing booth its UltraBattery Honda Civic hybrid demonstration vehicle, which is powered by East Penn’s lead-carbon UltraBatteries and recently achieved 100,000 miles in fleet duty under Ecotality North America.
In exchange for the ALABC’s promotion of this event, The Battery Show is again offering the Consortium a free exhibition booth, in which ALABC achievements will be on display as well as further advertisement of the demonstration vehicle on display at the East Penn booth. In addition, ALABC members will receive a 10% discount on passes to The Battery Show’s three-day conference session, which will feature over 30 presentations by high-reputed speakers including the Consortium’s own Boris Monahov and Allan Cooper. Topics will range from worldwide market trends to the development success of various types of advanced batteries for hybrid electric vehicles and other energy storage applications.
The Battery Show’s exhibition program will include more than 200 companies, most of which are major producers and researchers of electric and hybrid electric vehicles, advanced batteries and energy storage systems. It should be noted that several of these exhibitors will be lead-acid and lead-carbon battery makers.
